Problem

Cash App users from different backgrounds may struggle to split payments, forget to pay people, or ask for payments due to life getting busy. Our solution should offer a way for users to easily split payments, among other users, schedule recurring payments through a trustworthy platform, and track previous payments.

Objectives

Split a single total among a group of 3 or more.
Scan and upload receipts.
Recurring payments for split bills (phone bills, rent, etc.).
Keep track of payments completed.
Track payments owed.
Ensure payments are secure and accurate.
Review previous receipts and transactions.

goals

Our main goal for the project is to design a feature for Cash App users to easily divide larger payments to other Cash App users so that all parties are aware of what they are paying for.

competitor ANALYSIS

Apps like DoorDash give users the option to create group orders with other DoorDash users. We could incorporate a feature in Cash App that allows the user to scan and upload their receipt from a restaurant and split the bill among other Cash APP users in a group transaction.
